Brief details of Organization, its Objective & Activities

NaadAura ‘musical odyssey’ is a Society/Organization dedicated to Indian Classical Music. The Society/Organization is registered under Societies Registration Act of 1860 having Regn No. S/64029/2008. The vision of NaadAura ‘musical odyssey’ is to be a world class centre for excellence in the teaching and propagation of Indian Classical and traditional music and performing arts. NaadAura is driven by a modern and contemporary outlook and social sensitivity and is committed to preserving and popularizing the diverse and ancient heritage of India. It also cares about the budding artists in the field of Indian Classical Music and put forward them to achieve the goals at the National and International Performance.

As you know, we have got the music culture in legacy from our ancestors. Indian Classical Music is oldest in the world and despite centuries of ruling by outsiders; due to its class, deepness, perfection, originality and also the dedication of the artists, it could not be ruined.

For the last 16 years the organization is organizing festivals on different occasions like Musical Workshops (Slums, Orphans, Observation Home), Music Festivals (National & International), Webinars (National & International), Centenary year, International day of Yoga, World Music Day, International Indo-Jazz Concert and Award Ceremony etc. During the course of organizing these festivals and webinars, the organization has imparted continuous training to the youths from the left-out groups of the society and Organiztion has also encouraged them by providing Certificates of Excellence and Participations and has also provided continuous support in their search for livelihood under the banner of the organization. After the outbreak of Covid-19, the organization realized the demand of time and took the digital route to achieve its objective of imparting knowledge of Music and Yoga to the youth of the country and saved them from the depression due to loss of opportunities and financial stress.

Festivals:
  • Two-day National Music Festival is dedicated to Tabla Wizard Pandit Anokhe Lal Mishra and Legendary Tabla Maestro Pt. Chhote Lal Mishra, Delhi. Panditji contributed significantly in Music World. Since 2006 to till now.
  • Centenary Year Celebration of The Tabla wizard Pandit AnokheLal Mishra from Banaras heritage of culture. (5th Feb. 2014).
  • World Music Day 21st June 2016
  • International day of Yoga Yoga is the source of energy for our body mind and soul. From 2015 to 2020.
  • The International Indo-Jazz Concert organized with the aim of connecting the musical streams of two countries, December 2018.
  • Vaisakhi Utsav organized to promote Semi Classical Music and Budding Artists. 1st May 2019.
  • ‘National Webinar’ – an 11-episode weekend Series, emphasizing the soothing and therapeutic role of Yoga and Indian Music in our lives during the pandemic (Covid-19). Renowned Artists and Yogis Participated and spread positive energy and softened the impact of the pandemic on about 1000 participants during August to October 2020 and brought at least 200 of them back to normal life from depression.
  • 2- Day International Webinar in the title of The Role of Arts in overcoming the adversity of life in a global perspective. On 23rd-24th March 2021 NaadAura brought scholars from 20 Universities across the World at a single platform and discussed the ways to overcome the adversity in the light of their counties
  • Chakradaar Mahotsav . 3- Day on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – 2-Day at Ramghat, Chitrakoot (15th & 16th March 2022) in collaboration with UP Sangeet Natak Akademi and One day in Triveni Auditorium, Delhi (24th March 2022) Supported by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
  • 4- Day Chakradaar Mahotsav on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – 1-Day at Tapovan, Rishikesh (14th March 2023). 2-Day at Parmarth Niketan, Ganga Ghat, Rishikesh Parmarth Niketan, Ganga Ghat, Rishikesh (15th & 16th March 2023) in collaboration with Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh and One day in Triveni Auditorium, Delhi (31st March 2023) Supported by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.

We have also been honoring Musicians, Yogis and other social personalities with titles Naad Sadhak, Naad Shri, Naad Ratna, Naad Shiromani, Naad Vachaspati and Naad Samrat, Certificate of Honour, Certificate of Excellence during the Festival (function).
